And immedietly following this, in the dub after Gohan says thanks, Piccolo simply says something to the effect of 'stay sharp Gohan.' But in the original Piccolo says 'don't get the wrong idea. Like in the dub during the saiyan fight when Piccolo saves Gohan from the saibaman he only says 'enough' - whereas in the original he says in an awesome voice 'burn in hell' then he kills it. He is actually much more harsh and awesome in the original. Piccolo's character is slightly altered as well. Like he'll say 'if my dad couldnt beat him how could I?' whereas in the original he would say something to the effect of 'He's just too strong, I can't beat him' Whereas, in the original Goku pleads Krillin not to kill Vegeta because he wants to have the chance to fight him again.ДЄnd in the dub Gohan's character is much more of a pushover. In the dub he tells Krillin not to kill him because if he is shown mercy he may learn to be good. In the dub Goku is made out to be a superman esque hero - whereas in the original he is portrayed more like a childlike man who loves to fight - an example being the fight with vegeta. Second, the actual character traits within the original are better as well. The voices for the characters in the original are superior to the ones in the dub - one example being piccolo - piccolos voice in the original is AMAZING! I have watched both - and the original is by far the best
